With a view to supporting the implementation of Agenda 2030, Technische Universität Dresden is offering four Environmental Management courses in 2017/18 to prepare participants for their environment-related tasks in their home countries.

With a view to supporting the implementation of Agenda 2030, Technische Universität Dresden is offering four Environmental Management courses in 2017/18:

  • SC71 Ecosystem Management – Conservation of Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services:

Application period: 20 February - 13 April 2017

Course period: 30 August - 26 September 2017

  • SC72 on Soil & Land Resources for Sustainable Development:

Application period: 01 March - 02 May 2017

Course period: 11 October - 03 November 2017

  • SC73 on Resource Efficiency - Cleaner Production and Waste Management:

Application period: 01 March - 02 May 2017

Course period: 15 November - 08 December 2017

  • EM41 Environmental Management for Developing and Emerging Countries:

Application period: 3 April - 1 June 2017

Course period: 10 January - 12 July 2018

The courses are designed to prepare the participants for future tasks in environment-related planning, coordination and management within ministries, agencies and local governments as well as NGOs in their home countries. Participants are expected to have several years of relevant professional experience and to be nominated by their institution in a developing or emerging country.

The program is funded by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety.
