General Information
Visa appointments can only be booked through the online appointment system and not by phone or by email. We would like to point out that requests for special appointments have no chance of success. Please understand that we cannot answer special appointment requests. Please check our website regularly as there are always isolated cancelled dates and new dates are made available daily.
Each applicant needs an appointment of his/her own. If you are applying with children, each child must have their own appointment.
Booking an appointment is FREE OF CHARGE. The Embassy does not encourage bookings to be made through agencies or any other third party offering their services against payment of a fee. You will be held responsible for any misuse in your name. If the booking system is misused, the applicant will be blocked. No further bookings will be possible!
Admission to the visa section of the German Embassy in order to submit an application is only possible on presentation of a print-out of a valid appointment booking confirmation and a complete application.
Latecomers will not be admitted and incomplete applications will not be processed.
It is mandatory to provide the necessary information that is requested by the booking system (passport number, complete address. etc.). No correct, complete information - no admission. In these cases, a new booking has to be made.
The booking has to be made in the correct categories. If you made a booking in a wrong category, admission will not be granted and you have to also book a new, correct appointment.
Please cancel your appointment if you cannot make it. The confirmation e-mail provides a cancellation link. Incorrect bookings will not be changed by the visa section. The incorrect booking will have to be cancelled and a new booking has to be made.
